I've had more than a couple authors/speakers approach me with Don's self portrait and ask me to try to capture something with that kind of personality. I don't know if I've ever actually come close.

Hmm...as far as advice goes...What exactly are you allowed to bring to the inauguration? I'm thinking like a pop up trampoline or a compact ladder that will fold down so you can get some "aerial" shots. I can just seem you now with your head randomly springing several feet above the crowd, camera pressed against your forehead. You could probably knock yourself out that way so you might want to bring along an assistant to revive you so you don't miss any shots. ;-)

Yeah I know- I was thinking you might want to save that for the end or at least have another assistant create a distraction elsewhere (assuming they have no prior criminal record they should get out with minimal time).
