I love my job.

July 07, 2008 Today was one of those days where I'm constantly pinching myself cause I can't believe the moment that I'm experiencing. Sony hired me to shoot Brandi Carlile in the recording studio working on her new album. They brought in famous drummer Matt Chamberlain as well as the rest of  Brandi's band. If you haven't heard Brandi's music yet please do so now. I've been a big fan for quite some time and have even briefly worked with her before. But to sit in her vocal booth today right next to her as she recorded was simply a jaw-dropping experience. I didn't hear a bad note all day and the texture and range of her voice is just simply mezmerizing. It's so rare these days to see that kind of pure musical talent.
